UNPRECEDENTED FLEXIBILITY
FOR HIGH-END APPLICATIONS
Equipped with modular I/O architec-
ture and a broad range of optional
lenses, the high-performance Pro AV
9500 and 9550 offer unparalleled
flexibility. Users can easily upgrade
video or change the configuration of
back panel connectors via "plug and
play" modules. These projectors are
broadly compatible with every stan-
dard data and video source, and flexi-
ble enough to be used for any large
room installation, staging event or
high-performance application where
image quality and brightness are
crucial.
OUR BRIGHTEST PROJEC-
TORS YET, PERFECT FOR
LARGE VENUES
The exceptionally bright Pro AV 9500
and 9550 easily fill large venues with
dazzling images and video. At 5200
lumens XGA (PAV 9500) and 5800
lumens SXGA (PAV 9550), these are the
brightest projectors yet from InFocus
Corporation. What’s more, they have
menu-controlled dual lamps, which
can be used together for maximum
brightness or separately in order to
maximize lamp life and reduce power
consumption. Plus, motorized lens
shift makes them easy to stack when
more than 10,000 lumens is required.
SUPERIOR IMAGE QUALITY
With InFocus Quality Video, a sharp
700:1 contrast ratio and superior
brightness, these projectors provide
exceptional video quality. Progressive
scan and next-generation noise reduc-
tion circuitry coupled with intelligent
sharpness control create rich video
and HDTV images. Modular I/O archi-
tecture opens the door to a wide array
of upgrades, including a Faroudja, a
division of Sage Inc., video module
option. The Pro AV 9500 and 9550
provide excellent focus uniformity,
delivering the sharpest images from
corner to corner.
A PLATFORM THAT FITS
ANY VENUE
With seven user-replaceable, optional
lenses and one standard lens, the Pro
AV 9500 and 9550 offer more lens
choices than ever before, including
new Mid-range Zoom and Ultra-wide
Angle Fixed lenses. These lens
options allow the projector to be easi-
ly integrated into any existing room or
large venue setting, as well as the
flexibility to change the position of the
projector as needed. Interchangeable
lenses can be simply swapped out on
the spot without the need to remove
the projector or call an authorized
service provider. What’s more, the pro-
jectors include motorized lens shift for
superior image placement flexibility as
well as simplified stacking. The lens
options include:
LENS-001: Wide Angle Fixed Lens
Throw Ratio (1.2:1)
LENS-002: Long Throw Fixed Lens
Throw Ratio (7:1)
LENS-004: Long Throw Zoom Lens

SOPHISTICATED PROJECTOR
CONTROL
For the first time, projector control
and management is available via the
USB port, giving integrators additional
options when using the Pro AV 9550
and 9500 with control systems. With
pass-through RS-232, integrators can
daisy-chain several Pro AV 9500 and
9550 projectors together, creating a
network that can be controlled from a
single source. Both projectors are
also compatible with InFocus
®
Corporation’s ProjectorNet
software,
an IT projector management solution
that enables control of InFocus
Corporation projectors over existing
institutional networks. With
ProjectorNet, IT professionals can
reduce the total cost of ownership.
ProjectorNet makes projectors far
easier to manage and troubleshoot,
reducing man-hours and significantly
trimming administrative and
helpdesk costs.

PRO AV 9500 & PRO AV 9550
COMPACT AND POWERFUL
It once took a 75-pound projector to encompass all the
features offered by the Pro AV 9500 and 9550. Thanks to
practical design innovations, these projectors handle it all
in a form factor weighing less than 46 lbs, providing more
lumens per pound and more value per dollar than ever
before. These relatively small but powerful systems are
easily integrated into even the most complex room configu-
ration. Compatible with InFocus’ exclusive ProjectionLink
single cable solution, they make system integration as
easy as pulling a CAT-5 cable. They are rugged enough to
be staged and moved repeatedly, and operate quietly at
less than 45 dB.
